I think if you point them directly to where the game is installed it should work, haven't tried myself though. I just extract them to an empty folder then manually move the files into the JA2 game folder and overwrite anything it asks to. First you'll need for a few bucks to buy the Jagged alliance 2 gold edition from GOG if you don't have it already. I haven't tried playing the game without launching it through INI Editor, but at the very least it's a good idea to launch it the first time using that tool.ĮDIT: You can probably use the automatic extrator to overwrite files but I don't like automatic extractors because I never know what subfolders it will decide to put stuff into. 21 Location Belgium Aug1 Here is a little help to play some great mods coming with the Jagged alliance 1.13 mod preinstalled under windows 10. Now you can run the game through "INI Editor.exe". well, it's just a matter of moving/overwriting the files in the JA2 game folder with the mod, and then the patch, and finally run "zPatch.bat" which should now be in your game folder and follow the instructions in the prompt.

Then you can download the newest version (which is 7435) and the 7435 to 7609 patch which I have assumed you've done already. Data files from the original game are still required and will be used by JA2-Stracciatella. The goal of the project is to make Jagged Alliance 2 available on a wide range of platforms, improve its stability, fix bugs and provide a stable platform for mod development.

First I completely removed the game and deleted the game folder (to make sure all the mods were gone) then reinstalled JA2 through Steam (you might not have to do this if you have a clean install). An improved, cross-platform, stable Jagged Alliance 2 runtime. I had 1.13 installed before but it was an old version.

I assume you've been watching Jef play? =3
